CAP Selects Crosswind Concepts for 2016 Training

December 22, 2015 at 10:18 AM

This evening we are excited to offer our first Stick 'n Rudder class for the Colorado Wing of the Civil Air Patrol (CAP.)  This "train the trainer" session is a result of the CAP selecting Crosswinds' educational offerings in their 2016 training curriculum.

"Tonight's class begins the process of training CAP Instructor Pilots (IP) in Crosswind's unique and comprehensive program that helps pilots gain skills and confidence necessary for successful crosswind operations," said Taylor Albrecht, Manager of Crosswind Concepts.  "Six CAP IPs will become qualified as Crosswind instructors to provide our training, both ground and simulator, to the entire Wing pilot corps."

Following tonight's class, each instructor will receive training on the Xwind simulator and Crosswind's unique building-block training syllabus.  "We offer the only dedicated and comprehensive crosswind training program in the country, and the CAP IPs will be thoroughly trained on the effective use of this program so that their pilots receive the maximum benefit," Albrecht said.

"We thank Col. Wearsch, Stefanie Hudgins and Rob Yusko for their vision and efforts to bring this fine training to the Wing," Albrecht added.
